Snow Petersen

Dr. Snow Petersen is a General Surgeon who is dedicated to helping people, which for her there is nothing better.  As a child, Dr. Petersen was fascinated by the science of the human body, and later as a professional snowboarder, she discovered her natural instincts as a leader and a healer when those around her suffered from injuries and illnesses. These qualities drew her to a career in general surgery, which allows her to use her pursuit of medical knowledge and her athleticism to heal others.  As a general surgeon in rural New Mexico, Dr. Petersen is “living a dream” working in a medical community that treats patients as one should treat yourself or your loved ones.   When not working, she and her husband love being outdoors, hiking, and exploring New Mexico, as well as cooking at home and trying out new recipes.
