At Cibola General Hospital, we believe healthcare should be as accessible and supportive as possible. Our Patient Resources page is designed to help you find the information and tools you need before, during, and after your visit. Whether you’re looking for registration information, medical records, parking details, or helpful hospital services, we’re here to make your experience easier. As your local healthcare partner, we are committed to providing personalized care and guidance every step of the way.
There are three registration offices in the hospital. One is located next to the Emergency Room and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The second is located near the Outpatient Entrance and is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The third is the Wound Care registration office, which is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
When you register, the admitting clerks will ask for information that is required by law, private insurance companies, and/or Medicare and Medicaid. All patient information is held in the strictest confidence. When registering, you are asked to bring any of the following documents that apply to you:
Other important considerations:
Our goal is to make the registration process as convenient and as speedy as possible, though it should be understood that patients who need to be seen in the Emergency Room do have priority over patients registering for routine tests and procedures.
Open Admissions Policy: It is the policy of Cibola General Hospital to admit and treat all persons without regard to race, color, gender, handicap, national origin, or religious creed. Admission requirements and assignment of hospital facilities are the same for all persons. There are no distinctions in eligibility for receiving any patient care services. Hospital facilities are available to all persons and visitors. Individuals and organizations having occasion to refer patients for admission or recommend Cibola General Hospital are advised to do so within the hospital’s policy to provide quality healthcare to all persons.
To help us continue providing quality care to our community, the following payment expectations apply to non-emergency services for both insured and uninsured patients.
Your deductible, co-payment, and/or co-insurance, if applicable, are due at the time of service. A deductible is the amount you must pay before your benefit plan begins paying for covered services. After your deductible is met, you may still be responsible for a co-payment (a set amount) or co-insurance (a percentage of the cost). Some plans may not require a deductible.
Please refer to your insurance plan to understand your coverage and financial responsibility. At the time of registration, we will provide an estimate of your expected charges and the portion you may owe. This estimate is based on the information available at that time and is not your final bill. Any portion not covered by your insurance remains your responsibility.
We accept cash, checks, debit cards, and credit cards. Eligible patients may qualify for prompt-pay discounts when payment is made in full at the time of service.
If you are unable to pay at the time of your appointment, please speak with our Patient Financial Services team. Financial assistance, charity care, uninsured discounts, and payment plan options may be available. In some cases, non-emergency services may need to be rescheduled.
Financial assistance and counselors are available to our patients who are uninsured or underinsured and have difficulty paying for care. We offer payment options, including payment plans and charity assistance for those who qualify. If you would like information about our financial assistance policy, please call (505) 287-6755 or email: fi*****************@************al.com

Friends and family play a vital role in the healing process. We encourage family members and friends to visit patients and participate in their care.
To support patient safety, privacy, and comfort, all visitors must follow hospital guidelines and staff instructions. Visitation may be modified at any time based on patient care needs, infection prevention precautions, or safety concerns. To protect patient privacy, photography, video recording, and audio recording are prohibited in patient care areas unless approved by the patient and care team. Patients also have the right to limit or restrict visitation at any time. Visiting hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., seven days a week.
Below are a few of the main areas of the hospital where visitation may occur. Please review the information below for specific guidelines and details for each department.
Patients receiving care in the Emergency Department may have one visitor at a time while in a treatment room. Visitors under the age of 18 are not permitted unless the patient is a minor. Visitors may be asked to step out during treatment or procedures to protect patient privacy and support care delivery.
Patients going into surgery are allowed two family visitors before their procedure, regardless of the time of day. Any family members remaining at the hospital during surgery should stay in the OR waiting area. Children must be supervised at all times.
All visitors must check in at the nurses’ station or registration desk upon arrival. Children must remain supervised by an adult at all times. Visitors who are ill or experiencing symptoms of illness should not visit. Seasonal restrictions for pediatric visitation may apply for infection prevention.
Patients receiving outpatient Labor & Delivery services may have one visitor. Inpatient Labor & Delivery patients may have up to two visitors at a time. Sibling visits may be permitted and coordinated with nursing staff in accordance with hospital guidelines.
Patients in the Intensive Care Unit may have up to two visitors at a time. Visitors under the age of 12 are not permitted. Visitation may be limited based on the patient’s condition, and visitors may be asked to step out during patient care or procedures.
The cafeteria is designed to serve hospital employees, patients, and visitors. Visitors are welcome to eat in the cafeteria any time it is open. The cafeteria offers a food service line, snacks, chips, and a variety of hot and cold drinks/juices. Vending machines are also available near the nurses’ station.
