Miner’s Testing
Respiratory Therapists provide testing for Uranium Miner compensation claims and works with the U.S. Department of Labor guidelines to ensure complete, accurate, and fair testing. Patients that our New Mexico residents must provide proof of residency with 6 month’s rent/property tax or utility bills and a New Mexico ID. Those who are not New Mexico residents can qualify for testing but must pay for the services prior to the tests being completed.
Cibola General Hospital offers Electroencephalograms (EEGs)
This test is used to evaluate the electrical activity in your brain and can be used to diagnose epilepsy, seizures, sleep disorders and various other brain dysfunctions.
During an EEG, a technician places small metal disks (electrodes) on your scalp. The electrodes attach to a machine that monitors the electrical signals that your brain cells (neurons) make to communicate with each other. Monitoring that communication shows how well the different areas of your brain are working.
